I am a third-year law student with experience with courtroom advocacy, poverty law, and in-house counsel. After graduation, I want to practice in litigation and appellate advocacy. I am fluent in Spanish and have a passion for legal research, new media, and my Iowa State Cyclones.
As part of the Appellate Advocacy Clinic at Drake, I argued two cases in the Iowa Supreme Court. I briefed a third case, State v. Miller, which appears as the writing sample. Oral arugment video can be found on the Court's website.

I work for Thomson Reuters as a Westlaw Student Representative. I help fellow students with legal research and write for the Legal Solutions Blog. In March 2013, I presented a national webinar on WestlawNext and oral advocacy competitions.
